Welcome to KB - I think you will find a fair smattering of folks over your way on a regular basis. Don't be afraid to say hi or join in any organised rides and all...

Yeah I wasnt to keen on going down that way. I snuck the bike out east and had a play in some of the more sheltered valleys. Practiced emergency braking dodging branches on the road :)

Welcome to KB.....I'm proper confused here...I've just started riding and I HAVE to ride a 250cc bike - how come you just started riding and you've got one twice the size?

I heard of a bloke riding round Auckland on a Brand Spanking new Kwak 636 with no licence at all....just wondering if all the licences and tests are worth the bother - the police obviously don't catch these fullas coz they're still out there - should I go and get myself that Hayabusa today then?

Haha, nup, subaru club of NZ. I was on those forums for the last while before switching to this one. My LEgacy wagon is starting to feel a bit slow hence the switch to bikes. And while I know the lil vtr250 isn't exactly a rocket it's a good start
