anyone got any performance specs on a 1996 GSXR1100WT. Just wondering what king of power the motor has thats going into my bike to replace a 1993 WP motor

i know my 96 gsxr1100wt was pulling 130hp @ rw with just a v&n bolt on

anyone know the max torque? thought it was somewhere around 115 Nm @ 9000 rpm

Even if you don't put a performance pipe on it, ditching the second muffler is a worthwhile mod.

You just need to unbolt the left hand side one from underneath the bike and just blank off the hole. You can have a bikeshop/welder make a plug that goes in the hole which is then held in place by the bolts etc that attatched the muffler link pipe. Saves about 15 Kgs as well.

I have a spare set of header pipes for a WT that you are welcome to come and take away.

Nothing at all mate. I dont need them, and I want them gone from my garage! Collecting just too much junk in there at the moment.

cheers mate will let you know once bikes up & running. at the moment still waiting for chain guide to arrive so can put pipes & things back on

will buy you a drnk on our next ride to say thanks. don't need them but you never know. I also have a spare motor now :)

ok got my bike back but the rev couter wasn't fixed as I don't have anymoney left to fix it so am asking for help again


what speed in 1st 2nd & 3rd gear is the max power at?

e.g at what speed in what gear is best for very fast take offs?

Sorry to see my Old bike motor gone hope the WT motor can do the work that I got from the Original Motor

still gpt the old motor aswel but has cracked crank cases & second gear doesn't work
