how much and what grade?, I have a clymer manual and it doesn't say anywhere, must be a misprint coz it refers to a table that dosn't exist:gob:

Ive got the same manual, just had a look, and like you say its got nothing about the type of oil or how much to put in. :gob:
goodluck on this one or try a yamaha dealer.

Hmm good question. Just about to give my daughters 175 a bit of a birthday and the fork oil is on the agenda.. Will watch this space.

10, its always 10 in old damper rod dirtbikes.

Try 6 inches from the top with forks compressed & no springs as a starting point, but google it & there will be an answer on the web, "DT175 fork oil level" or whatever
