Just remember to use your head at Harrisville. It is a technical track that does require some respect.
I would advise that you find someone that has been there before and follow them round to set the pace you need to clear the doubles.
Once you have a feel for it, Harrisville is a really fun place to advance your skills and the two hours that is open on a saturday is more than enough time there.
Go, have fun, but use your brain

LOL, be very confident at Ardmore and in the air before you venture to Harrisville boys.
I ride Ardmore a lot, catch up with me for a chat, black 07 KX250 #105

dont be put off though fellas,a large part of the track is still heaps of fun, not so jumpy, you;ll really like it, but the other half dose require some skill(balls), you;ll see, be sure to go in the b grade though. stay out of harms way! if nothing eles it will improve confidance for ardmore, enjoy, sick track!

The guys a bit more info on Harrisville,
The club is going back to spliting classes in A and B groups this weekend and this will continue right though summer,
the A class will be first at 1.00 for a 20 minute session and then they will be 20 minutes sesssion for the B group,
Harrisville is alot more techincal than ardmore and will take a bit of time to get used to, it is regarded by most riders as the best track in the country, it is watered every saturday when needed and kept in great condition, the top half of the track is changed regualry and the bottom section (named the supercross section) is the same most weekends, most of the jumps are on the bottom section. If you think you get some airtime at Ardmore you are in for some big suprises, Ardmores jumps pail in comparision
this weekend would be a good weekend to go as alot of the National level riders that frequent the place will be away at the final round of the MX nationals,
Thier are also very good facilties at Mr Motorcycles Raceway HArrisville, Full washdown bays, (bring a waterblaster (or use out hose) and wash you bike before you go) flushing clean toilets, Warning light system for accidents, Also their is good viewing of the track if you want to watch the riders as the clubhouse overlooks the bottom section

Went there a couple weeks ago, was bloody good. The MX track is like Ardmore (fast & not difficult) and only has one big (but easy) jump. The day i went it was very dry & dusty but a little rain and it would be great. I loved the layout of the track and is a real track, not like some of the 'farm' MX tracks i've been to.
The enduro loop was good too and not to difficult, they were going to groom it the following week.
Think it's open 7 days. At the end of Rowe Rd, Welcome Bay. Got a ph number will post it IF i can find it.

the hours date back to the 80's shen the club origainnlly got the land and they though it would be enough, times change and unfortunaly in NZ it is very hard to get stuff like this changed, we actaully have a good realtionship with the neighbours and we believe we are a good neighbours. but we are looking into noise limits as the four strokes niose tends to travel further
