I'm sooooo relieved I came through  . I found reading about other members' experiences to be very helpful and it's good to know they have been through the same stuff and passed with flying colours. I did my test at AA Westgate, the examiner was helpful and said that if he didn't see either side of my helmet (from scanning/checking the road), he would fail me. He basically followed me indicating left or right, flashing his lights so I was constantly checking my mirrors to see which way he was indicating or if he was about to pull over. He actually did pull over, got out of his car and I thought "oh oh, what have I done now?" lol. He told me to speed up to 45/50km/h as I was only going 40 and I didn't look confident riding (I think I was just nervous), after that I sped up and was fine. At the end of the test, he got me to perform a quick stop and commented that my scanning/checking was excellent.

Congrats
I remember the buzz from when I got rid of the stupid yellow sign (put it on for the duration of my test)
I gotta go for my full next month and need to practice the big head movements!
Doing defensive driving now. What they saying is good stuff but really dull. Keep up the searching, and realise people in cages won't see you!!!
Have fun riding, it's great :)

I just passed my 6r too! bit of a joke really how easy it was really but hell, one step closer to a real bike I spose
I was worried about speeding and getting a knee down like rossi in the corners, both 'bad' habits in the testers eyes, but at the end he reckoned I was slow, he was gonna give me a blast in the ear piece to hurry me up haha

Hi guys, thanks for the warm welcome, it’s good to come on board :) . Yeah it would be cool to join in on a KB ride or two, and the weather is getting nicer. Kinje, good luck (not that you’ll need it) for when you sit your full, I’d be interested to know how it all goes since I hope to go for one in the near future …
Yesterday, I received my photo ID licence with the 6R on it so I was quite happy with that lol. I like how you can get parking real easy with a motorbike, for instance I went into Westcity Shopping Centre today and came across an allocated parking space for motorcycles just outside Books & More, so that’s handy to know for the future. I felt sorry for the people in cages who were going round and round in circles looking for a space during a busy and crowded time hehehe.

Hi Jas-linda. Never feel sorry for people in cages. Those are the ones out to kill you. We all have choices in life. The cagers just made the wrong one  It took me a few years to see the light :ride:
Welcome to the site and well done on the restricted.

Congratulations,
I don't think I want to go through the tests now,
it was a HELL of a lot easier to open the cornflakes package and there it was :gob:
