....how on earth did that seagull manage to crap on me?
Lovely ride into work this morning, enjoying the sun and all, when all of a sudden what looked like a stick came flying at me from some where and hit me on the knee.
Looked down and.....oh....crap.....
Then had a bit of a laugh about it as I continued on to work with my "green badge of courage"...
My Cordura pants may not be waterproof....but they are resistant to seagull guano, so I suppose that's something...

I think that's something that people who've been crapped on by a seagull say.

YEah - I thought that people might find that an amusing story - that's why I decided to share...
Str8 - I am not riding tonight :bye: because I forgot about TCWNR and agreed to go and eat roast dinner at my sister's instead....oh the hardship!
Can't go for the next 3 weeks either - exam, holiday.... BUT I will come along after that. I'll even bring my avian friends....:Punk:

TCWNR. Destination: my sister's house!
I am sure she'd be thrilled. My nephew would enjoy looking at the bikes!

Have you ever actually tried seagull. It's horrid. Definately not a roaster, if you HAVE to eat one try boiling it. And block your nose, the smell is even worse than the taste.

I was coming back across the Desert Road after WarlockNZ carried on south, and a bird crapped right in the middle of my visor, fortunatley there was enough wind that the worst blew off, but was still a mess!

Can't say I have actually... I've had chicken feet, beef tripe, duck wings, scorpion, gecko and locust (I'm Singaporean Chinese), but never seagull... hmmm... Should do sometime.

same thing happened to me when I was on my bike....I was 13 and it was a BMX, the only thing stopping me getting pooh in my eye was a pair of knock off wayfarers that were never the same again LOL

hehe, ive never had a bird shit on me (touch wood) but I remember one day when I was quite young me and my family were having a picnic at Mission Bay, as the old man started saying grace (he's a pastor) a big bird shit landed square on his face. Praise the Lord!

I remember being at the beach with my cousins as a kid, and a dog strolls along and just cocks his leg on my sunbathing cousin, we put it down to the coconut oil hehehe.
I think we all got ice cream for that one!!

Hmmm, I got a bird splot on my bars at the moment. I have absolutely no idea when it hit though.
It goes quite nicely with the road dirt and oil collected over last weekend :-)
I guess I know what I will be doing at the weekend.... cleaning not riding :-(

Grumble grumble...looking at the weather forecast, that may not be a bad thing....darn wind and rain!
Speaking of rain - my Spidi boots are suddenly not waterproof any more, esp the left one, which gets basically a puddle of water in it. WHat gives? They aren't that old (May 06) and definitely used to keep out the water better. ANy tips?
