Seeing as Monday's a holiday, and I've barely riden my bike in the last couple a months I thought a ride across the top of the East Cape would be nice.
Anyone else interested? Meet at the Gull Servo on Te Ngae Rd, Rotorua at say 10am.
Saturday or Monday? It is now definitley Monday!!!
SORRY GUYS I"M GUNNA CANCEL THIS RIDE DUE TO SHIT WEATHER!!

I'm heading over to Whktne on Sun anyway & was thinking of staying the night; was gonna suggest meeting you lot at that Ohope turn-off (on the eastern side of Ohope).
But if the weather's gonna be shite....hmmm
Don't think I'd go as far as Te Araroa tho' ...don't wanna push my shoulder too much before the trackday

Mondays good for me, but I'll catch you guys in Whakatane or Ohope (either side) or whereever EMan tells me he's going to be. My bike will only do 250k on a full tank (at medium pace) so If there aint still a servo in Waihau Bay I'll have to head back to Opotiki.
I'll be busy Sunday soooo... keep us posted:yes:

It'll pay to fill up at Opotiki, there is a gas station just before Te Kaha and then one at Waihu Bay then Te Araroa, only 91 tho, and at a priemuim price.
If my memory services correctly :doobey: it's less than 200k's from Opotiki to Te Araroa....

It's pissing down here and every where else I imagine, so I'm gunna call this ride off, no fun riding in the pissing rain with no hope of finding dry roads.
