Right well I know it is now labour weekend (woooohooooo!!) And thinking of tuesday is totally horrible,
BUT
I have just found out that Moon TV will be back on Tuesday at 10.30pm on TV2.
Now if you enjoy(ed) the humour of sportscafe and pulpsport then you will love Moon TV. It is made by Leigh Hart who was That Guy on Sportscafe and he also writes a column in the herald on sunday
ANYWAY, I strongly suggest you watch it!!

Oh well done... youve opened a can of worms here!! :gob:
I dont believe they did land on the moon, some fairly common evidence is the flag and how it appears to 'flit' in the wind.. wind? sorry folks but no wind in space. And also if you speed up the footage where they are walking down the hill on the moon, you will see they are in fact 'running' even down to the 'dust' around their feet falling to the ground at the correct speed... the two arnt relative to each other on the moon and thus trickery... shame really.

June or July '69 I think. I seem to remember listening to it being broadcast over the loud speaker system at primary school.
Ignore the conspiricy theorists. I remember at the time it being explained that the flag was designed to appear to be waving in a breeze by lining it with something. Not much point taking one really unless they could make it stick out a bit.

There's a site which rebuts all the hoax arguments one by one, http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/tv/foxapollo.html
Please for god's sake you hoax believers, read it.

I don't believe they did. Not in 1969. The facts don't add up. Seen that documentary a couple of times and it just doesn't fit.

20th October 2006, 20:37
Of ourse they didn't, after all it'd be piss easy to keep a hoax of that magnitude under cover for all these years
The Russians would have been monitoring everything they did and if they hadn't landed they would have let the world know about it

It happened alright. If the Yanks acted it out a la Hollywood, they wouldn't have allowed a version where Neil Armstrong fluffed his lines to go to air would they? (He said "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" when he was supposed to say "That's one small step for A man, one giant leap for mankind").
It's easy for the conspiricy theorists. All they need to do is take a factual event and then look for 'could have been' possibilities and before you know it ... the American Government blew up the Twin Towers and a cruise missile took out the Pentagon.

Ah America! The land of the free! Ever notice that all conspiracy theories originate in the USA and are only about the common American man against the American Gummint?

yeah they went there.
Flag waves like that because there is no air
One thing that the consipr dudes never have an answer for is that there were a whole bunch of countries with radio dishes all pointed at the moon and they all recieved the same signals at the same time. That is a neat trick to fake considerring that there is a whole bunch of other facts about the radio signals which all align, like the lunar singal was relayed via the command ship which was orbiting, and the correct signals were still detected from the moon when the command ship was around the other side of the moon, and a whole bunch of other stuff too.

This was two seperate threads for a reason!!!
Moon TV has nothing to do with the landing on the moon! It was just purely random both my threads had the same name starting it

Which muppet mod merged these two threads. roflmao. Next we'll have a thread about the 07 R1 merged with the thread on the 07 gixxer. Although in saying that, those two topics have more in common than the moon and moon tv. haha.
