I found these in an amarican r6 forum. They already have the 2007 model in US. I couldnt see much difference then the 2006 model. For black model it has a silver mid fairing. And the bikes are slimmer than 2006 as well. There are couple of pics.

Visit http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products/modelhome/8/0/home.aspx for specs.

in the specs it doesnt say it was slimmer. all they have changed are the graphics down the side. that is it. i will stay with the 06 this year for sure.

Well u have the 2006 model. u should know better than me. but i can clearly see that the 2007 looks slimmber than 06. look at the front of the bike clearly. 06 model is wider.

graphics looks like a cheap job in photoshop. I've seen in the flesh pics from the Yamaha US release/unveiling of the 2007 R1 and they had the 2007 R6 there too (which was no different to the 2006 model).

If anything there will be slight modifications to the engine that would end up being super-cedeing parts should the ones on the 2006 model fail - thats standard practice though.

does he ride it as hard as it looks? If not he must immediately forfeit it to me so I can go about trying to ride it as hard as it looks.

Faarrrrkk!!! That Z1000 looks sex too!!!

I'm set on the R6, if i had the money i'd have the 2006 R6 for the track, a 2006 R1 for the road (or a 2007 one), and an Aprillia RSV1000R factory just because.

Will have to come shill with you home boys when i get my ass to the south island!

Thanks.... My preferred bike for the moment... Of course the pipes have changed the bikes looks and character heaps... Always used to ride in the midrange but it just sounds awesome on the gas now, I end up riding the top-end a bit more...

If I did that you wouldn't be able to keep up.... actually, if I did that, I wouldn't be able to keep up.... and nobody will ever hear anything above your bike.... and I washed it friday, while you were soaking in the sun on holiday....

I have sold a few of the 06 R6's. There is not a lot that they could have done to improve on the 06 model. It is one awesome little motorcycle.

 WaiYam, if its who i'am thinking of, pretty shure i bought mine of you. Yep its one cool machine, little harsh at first on the road, but after a few little tweaks here and there on the suspension settings, and a few 1000 klms on the clock its settled down nicely for the road. Did a 350 klm run the other day with a quick gas stop no problems either for a long hall. Can't wait to get it on the track, hopefully soon when the race fairings arrive. Posted some pictures some time ago in sports bike section..2006 r6 yamaha. Have since put on red coloured braided brake lines, which set the bike off nicely and work like a dream.
Cheers, see you on the road again:rockon:

Its a bit like asking "Do you wank with your left hand, or your right?"

Both damn good bikes.

Yes Russell. Tis me. Should be a fair few R6's on the track this year. Can't wait to see them carving up the Suzuki's this season.
