Congrats on the new bike Nicki - Looks great in red. :2thumbsup Almost got a red one myself.... had a choice traditional (and common) Blue/White or Red/Black, but the Blue was cheaper!!

haven't wiped the grin off my face yet..

I think that grin will stay on for much longer from my experience... I still grin everytime I look at mine and I've had it 3 months and done 5000km in the 2 mths I've been allowed to ride it. It's the first of 30+ vehicles I've owned over the last 30 yrs where I've made purely cosmetic changes!! BTW don't get caught out by the ease with which these bikes get to illegal speeds on the road.... right? http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=32493

I hope you'll post more about your purchase experience, ride home etc..... always nice to read positive stories

Enjoy!!

PS
There's at least 3 other trackdays before the GSXR one in December!

They come with the cowl AND the pillion seat but since I've taken the pillion pegs off mine, the seats no good anyways!!

even my parents who hate bikes appreciated how beautiful she is!!!
i'll be real careful and take good care of her...
no tail cowl = no pillions.. good excuse ay!!
i'm taking it easy before hitting the track.. going to get used to her at sedate speeds... especially as i have to run in the engine....

HAHA heya smarty:nya: im's talking about my cats felix is the grey tabby cat and rocket is the ginger/white cat, felix(the cat:p ) has a love hate relationship with my flatemate. something funny happened today, i had bought these packet of very yucky chips, and rocket got into them and started licking the cheese flavoured chips. anyways my flatemate comes up and puts her hand in the packet and before i could say "DONT EAT THOSE ROCKETS BEEN LICKING THE CHIPS" my flatemate had already popped one in and started eating the chip. MWAHAHHAHAHALOL you guys should have seen her face it looked like this:pinch:

Bloody good to hear!
I can relate to that grin thing! I have had my beast for 6 years and fall more in lust every day!
Infact I have been on crutches for the last 6 weeks (NOT bike related accident) and unable to ride so a couple of times a week I would go out to the garage and start up the bike just so I could smell the fumes and sit there thinking Damn! what a FINE bike LOL!

Enjoy!
