This is “the one”. Suzuki GSX-R 1100 G, 1986. First of the “Real Super Bikes”.
Information supplied by Colemans Suzuki and Suzuki Japan would indicate that this is No.210 of approximately 1000 factory “G” “early release” models produced by Suzuki in 1985. These were offered to Suzuki dealers to road register so as to compete in the 1986 production bike racing season. These “early release” bikes (like the early GSX1100’s) are “a little hotter” than the later production bikes. Models produced after the initial production run of 1000 bikes ie 1986 “g” and “h” models were assembled for road use (different carb/valve set up etc). The sump on this bike has not been drilled so presumably it has never been raced.
This bike has incredible HP and amazing power deliver, is rock solid at 200+k and has a better power to weight ratio than any subsequent GSXR model.
If you want one of these fantastic bikes to collect this must be the one. It would be best described as a true factory classic, which is in factory original, unrestored and very close to mint condition. This bike can only appreciate in value.
Recently a factory new screen and fairings were fitted (absolutely no rattles)and a factory new seat has also been fitted.
This bike has a personalised plate (GSX 86) and will come with registration and current WOF.
