ZXR400 L radiator

Hello Kb's,

I am currently working on my bike radiator as it came loose from the frame & fairing (unwelded )does anybody knows if a ZXR250a or ZXR250c radiator would fit into a ZXR 400 L 93model ? cheers for your help in advance

hey man, looks like you are the dude from trademe wanting to buy my radiator :yes: I am *think* that they should be the same, the trick is the mounting points, because the size of the radiator and volume should be pretty much the same. I also think the the ZXR400 and the ZXR250 frames are pretty much the same (could be wrong) so the mounting points should be the same.
SOmeone on here will know anyhow.

Yeh I wouldn't be sure about that.

I know from personal experience that ZX4R parts are a fucker to get hold of, but I'd make 100% sure the 250 rad fits before buying it, as my guess would be that it won't. Reminds me I've got to flush my rad.

Is there anything actually wrong with your radiator itself? Couldn't you just get the mounting points welded back up?

Yeha he could just have some new points welded on, depends on how bad his original one is, and whether no one else has one for sale! The radiator i have is mint, but at the end of the day, it is from a ZXR250, so no promises!!!!

hello Kb fellas that replied to my post!!

sorry for my very late reply but I have been overseas and I have just come back. long story in regards to fixing my radiator......I took the bike to a "profesional bike welder" here in chch and he did a very crapy job to be honest I took the bike twice as he welded one side then the other one came off loose what a flipping nightmare the worst thing is that he charged me again for welding the other side dam!!!

Anyway beleive it or not after talking to a few mates i took the radiator off the bike and took it to a "auto radiator place" close to the airport in chch beleive it or not they did a bloody fantastic job and they only charged me 50$$ can you beleive this!!!!??? :rockon:

The radiator is all fixed nice and tidy so thanks to all kb fellas that replied.
