I've done that several times, always :) wondered what it was.

The engines on these things so simple and solid that it would take a hell of a lot to hurt them.

Some of that left over oil after you overfilled it could always find a home on your chain....:innocent:

If you can ask $1900 for your bike, I wonder what mine is worth
Mines a minter and effectively still in show room condition :innocent:
Good luck with the sale.

I thought it did look clean??
All I've got in the way of chain oil is some WH "Chain Lubricant" which is basically cooking oil. Need some aerosol stuff.
If it doesn't sell this time, I'm gonna strip it, clean everything, replace plastics, and then sell it for more. So if you want a cheap commuter or first bike, I'm open to offers. Need money to pay for a new bike.

And yes, I did get the lock with the tyres. The mountainbike shop also fitted the chain.

$500-, and I've got my own chain lube, oh yeah, you can keep the chain lock too....
Have you sorted out the back firing and melted air box??

jeremysprite

It was just a melted air filter. Didn't do it this morning, still don't know why it was doing that though. I'll seriously consider anything over $1750. Very fun bike, good brakes too, as I found out as an 18 wheeler tried to pull into MY lane.

Flat spotted the tyres? No comprendo there buddy. And when I say I mean to clean it etc, I mean replace all the plastics, strip it down to the frame, wash everything in CRC/petrol/water, so it comes out all shiny-like. So yes, I would raise the price after investing a further $700 worth of plastic into it, and a huge amount of my time, which should be used more for studying atm.

not shure about the helmet and not wanting to put anyone off the sale of jeremys bike but if the size limit for first bikes were 400 cc the 250s etc would be pretty much unsaleable

So you're flicking it off before it dies or something, sure sounds like it.

The lame comments all over your pictures won't help you sell the bike, all it does is make your sale come across as very unprofessional.

Though, someone dumbass will buy it. I went to check out an FXR recently for my sister and some stupid bitch down in Wellington went and forked out $2200 for the bike which has 35,000kms on it and several cosmetic flaws. That's not even including shipping.

Sounds like I really gave away my old FXR with 13,000 on the clock for $2300. And it was in very good nick too, and WELL MAINTAINED.
