Anyone else use this.

http://www.mailwasher.net/

At least the spam can be simply ticked off and processed much quicker than going through the normal Inbox and you can see it before it is sent to you.I think the persistant spam address's can be aded to the blacklist also ...fwiw and maybe a repost.

People still use ISP email? It seems odd in this day and age. I use gmail (google mail if you live under a rock). It's webmail, but the webmail client is actually pretty decent, far far better (and almost as fast) than Outlook. Plus, (effectively) unlimited storage -- you never need to delete anything ever. Plus:

- You can't get viruses from opening email, unless you do something really stupid
- Even if your computer crashes all your 6 years worth of mail is still available
- You don't need to be at home to access your mail
- You don't need to wait for the mail to download

And, the biggy:
- When you inevitably leave your ISP because it goes bankrupt/puts up it's prices/you see a cheaper deal, your email address remains the same.

And, in a more relevant note to this thread, they have super-awesome-monkey-power spam filter, made effective by the power of millions of gmail users combing together. If in the (exceedingly) rare case that you do get spam in your inbox, just click on `report spam' and then the problem will be solved.

Like nearly all Google products, it's completely free too.

The only complication with gmail is that it's invite only -- however you can get invites from any gmail user (most users now seem to have about 100 invite to give out at any one time) so just give me a PM and I'll hook you up.

What?

Yep - I still use ISP e-mail. I also use Mailwasher, and it is great. The only limitation is that it doesn't stop the crap coming through while your e-mail browser is open.

I am interested in g-mail, though. Sounds good to me.

I also still use ISP email and mailwasher too.
From what I understand, it's developed by somebody in Chch.
