Hey guys any help you can give here would be appreciated.
This afternoon a colleagues bike was stolen from the Wilsons car park in New Market (Cnr York St & Khyber Pass Rd)
It is a 2006 Hyosung GT250R (Black) rego# 73YKD.
The theft was spotted in progress and people from our office ran down to try and stop the two guys, one guy was caught and taken away by the cops, the guy on the bike got away. By the sounds of things the cops may have enough info to get the other guy as well but just incase anyone spots it...
So also, no buying a really cheap 2006 Hyosung GT250R (Black) 73YKD ok guys...

Good work to the people who ran to get the co-offender! Makes your heart all warm that you're a kiwi. That must have been a tense confrontation, stopping him leaving! Hope your mate gets his bike back.

Can we make an example of that scumbag
I think police custody would be the safest place for him ...
To many thefts in NZ( not just nz ) ... really not good

Even tho i ride one, can't think why anyone would want to nick one, must have mistaken it for something else. ha ha
Serously tho, that sucks, i've had to park mine on the street for the last week and i've been paranoid as hell.
Hope everything works out and they catch the bastard.

So your telling me that if someone shoved a Tazer up your arse while you are riding (no doubt at speed) that you would be able to safely stop the bike without causing harm to yourself or any other road user? :gob:

Not saying that at all... just like it's not safe to ride a bike after 2 dozen beers... but it's not the beer outlet that gets blamed...

Not saying that you wouldn't die but the shock itself wouldn't kill you, (probably still doesn't make it legal though). Anyway I'd rather have some prick fall off my bike and hurt himself than have him and the bike disappear into thin air....

Yet! Soon there will be no Fireworks because they're too dangerous, then there'll be no more Fastfood because it makes fat lazy people fatter and lazier, then (heaven forbid) there will be no more beer and we'll all just have to go kill ourselves.......:bye:
