looking for a bike that may run, but in need of abit of tlc? maybe a 2 stroke 250? or big 500, 1000 etc?! must have some potential lol

id like a lil project and would like to get to know about a bikes internals

I have a Yamaha SRX 600 I've been thinking of selling for a while now. It's a goer and warrantable but with a few bits that could do with loving attention. It's old (1987) with 96,000km on the clock but would probably go forever.

I have a GSX1100 F that needs some TLC, Reg has just run out, warrant ran out months ago.

1987 , 95,000km, 1127cc engine

dropped it and broke right hand side plastics, put it aside to do up and bought another bike to ride in the meantime.

Hmm, depends on what you call potential...

There is a XJ550 thats needs a home and a bit of TLC on trade me if you are interested.

But beware what's become aparant from looking at Kickaha and Frosty, these bikes become a bit of an obsession...:mellow:

edit: this post is a plea for someone to buy the bike, before Kickaha does :lol:

I have a VF750 in my garage that is just taking up space. I bought it with the intention of flossying it up, but my interests have shifted and now its a pain in the arse. Reg on hold, had a wof and would probably get another. some bits with it too.

Its a GSX 1100 F 1987. The model with the electric fairing.

Goes bloody well,

Dropped it when I hit some gravel on the apex of a bend.

Right side fairing damaged so I took it off and rode it with out any fairing for 4 months.

Bought another bike with the intention of doing repairs.

Never got round to it.
