Another biker down today...

Friend of mine, hit from the side by a car pulling out of side street in city.
Bike in two pieces.. ..rider at hospital recieving xrays. Preliminary news that he ok, just shaken and sore.

...dam cages....

Bum. Hope your friend gets well soon and that he/she doesn't have any hassles getting their bike all fixed up.

Cars suck - well, stupid people in them, more like....

Hope your friend's injuries heal well & the driver's insurance coughs up hassle free.
I assume the police were involved & got any witnesses reports.

Hope hes well and won't be too long before hes back on the road riding again :bye:

What the hell is wrong with these people, hit from the side suggests he was right in front of the car, don't these homos look where they're bloody going? (rhetorical question) Look I know that bikers have a tendancy to sneak up on people and catch 'em unawares but come on, not when your right in front of them - not on, not on at all...

Good luck getting the bike back together, or is it now a unicycle.... juan juan!

Bad news. Commisserations and hope he's not too sore. Yep, the car driver clearly didn't look properly but wonder if your mate had his lights on? A lot of bikers still ride with them off in daylight.

Glad to hear your mate's ok, although he's going to be sore later.

How the hell did the bike break in two? That's suggests a pretty big hit, either speedwise or anglewise (Well that doesn't make a lot of sense).

Maybe we need to write to an MP to introduce a bill where it's legal to take a free punch at some c**t who takes you out and then says "I didn't see you".

Course if you're leg is broken, you'll either need someone to hold you up or get him/her to lower her face into swinging range.
