Well, I'm not too shure if'n this be the correct place to post this thread (should it be in the bike meeting/events?) I pootled along to the show around 4ish and took a look.

Remembering Spanky's warning about not parking in normal cager slots, I put my bike on the apron opposite the entry door. $10 to get in and you get a card to fill in for "Best of Show".

Took my time looking around, there were a few stands around the outside of the viewing hall proper, from my view it seems more exhibitors were still to set up. Anyhow grub was available (though my mind wasn't on food!).

From my recollection as you enter to the left is :

some Chopper stand
a nifty collectible model stand
biker clothing and leathers
Chrome company
Motorhaus
Anarchy
Motorcycle market
Lady with her flame sewing machine (service provider for sewing!)
Harley clothing
Air brush artist with cleaning product stand
Caps, hats and headwear stand

Going through the viewing hall there were quite a number of nice bikes on view, I shot a bunch of photos and will keep posting them up here as I wait for the lot to d/l!

A bunch of leathered up cruiser and hog riders were apparant - good displays and of course, vurrry nice rides. As I was leaving, more exhibitors were pulling up, other bikes being ridden in to add to displays and the people were clocking in.

If you're interested in bikes, trikes and other two wheeled forms of transport have a butchers, if'n you couldn't make it - enjoy the photos!

Thanks for the ovreview GIJoe. Good to know there's a show worth visiting...the exhibition last year at the Ellerslie convention center was pretty dissapointing.

One of our customers went to it. He was told by the ticket seller to just go in because he was so early. Then a Hell's Angel told him to fuck off when he couldn't produce a ticket.
They're the ones who can fuck off.

I paid by Eftpos and didn't recieve a ticket either, hell - I even lost the card which I was meant to write "Best of Show" on! I was the only biker there when I turned up that wasn't wearing leathers! I could hear their thoughts "F**k'n Cordura Shite!" Meh, funny thing was - I didn't take any photos of their bikes anyway (didn't think it would be appreciated being posted here?)

I didn't get a ticket either. Got an indistinct red stamp on my hand tho. The show was good, and there were some interesting chops on display together with a great display by the BSA club. The absence of show girlies wasn't missed. it's a bike show, if i want young dumb blondes I'll go to Showgirls...or maybe 'The Met'. :zzzz:

This bike was chopped by a Massey University marketing lecturer named Simon Martin using mainly library books!!! Bloody good effort as far as I am concerned!!!

I'm all in favour of a little counter-culture and I really don't go for PC bullshit, but that's pretty sad to see.

I was also quite surprised to see the swastika at that stall, but hey, each to their own I know its sometimes goes with the 'gang' territory. I know a MC in South Africa where the members display their swastika's proudly. Right or wrong it's their choice.
