If memory serves it was at Kyalami, South Africa. The second to last corner. He went down and I think it's Troy Corser behind him, on the Aprillia... Can't remember if he fell too due to the Yamaha 'spreading' itself across the track...

Haga is one of my fav riders.

not many people could put an bike up the inside of a ducati while sliding, but he can, he was awsome what he cold do with his r7 And would have won the champship i believe, apart form losing points for 'drugs' in his system from round in SA(memory little fussy at moment) , going to motogp ruined his sliding style a bit,

I pretty sure they are rubber tubes.

Would someone please enlighten me as to why the fuck there are open ended pipes on the inside of the corner? They look like metal too, perfect skewer.

Would likely be plastic and to stop the cages cutting the corners.
