After a few discussions over the weekend, I thought I might put out the idea of starting a few things up in Akl.....

Firstly is anyone keen on a KB indoor soccer team?? Place preferably henderson, as this is the best court, but negotiable. I will investigate costs and times if there is enough interest.

Secondly, does anyone else out there enjoy playing cards? Eg Bridge, Canasta, 500, poker etc etc. I wouldn't mind perhaps organising a few evenings with a few drinks and a few card tables happening....

And lastly, to steal an idea off the welly boys, pool and tenpin bowling?

more indoor carting and stuff like that would be cool. The Snow Planet must be opening up here soon at Silverdale. Am a bit concerned that it heads straight to the motorway though.

Oh yes. Haven't played a rubber in years. Quite fond of Canasta also.

Right then, I'll have to look at a few options for indoor soccer it looks like.... :) The henderson place is best and is only 2 mins off the Te Atatu Rd offramp on the NW MWay, so its not wayy wayyy into henderson....Or by central do you mean Takapuna/Northcote

Up for cards, 500, canasta, poker, you name it. Just make sure there's room on the table for a :apint: or 2

ten pin could be a goer to, as well as carting.

FOr me, shore would be ideal, but for everyone, cityside.

I'd be keen on the soccer idea too(just to get the oldies no's up....)but I'm off work with a stuffed knee,so it may not be such a great idea......same with carting, love it but present financial position prevents me from taking part :crybaby:
Sorry, don't do the cards thing,or drink much these days either(old fart....)
