Only things done to it since I bought it is put Michelin Pilot Powers on it which are about half worn (and blimmen awesome tyres!), put a radiator guard on it, also put a R & G Fender Eliminator on it, and also had its first service.
All factory suspension has been sut up by Shaun Harris.
There is still 1 year and 9 months of factory warranty left on it which is fully transferable.
You will not find a second hand bike in as good a condition as this one. It lives in a garage and gets cleaned after every ride.
Selling as my partner and I have decided to move overseas in about 12 months, so unfortunately the bike has to go :( as I need to try and save as much $$$ as I can before I leave NZ.
Finance can be arranged to suit you through MTF.

I am however looking for a cheapish bike to ride until I leave so if you have something like a SRAD 750, 98/99 ZX9R or something similar that you might want to trade then let me know.
thanks.

Hmmmm, I really like that model of 750. It may be hard to find but I am sorta hoping to find something with under about 30'000k's on the clock as I have to resell whatever I buy in about 12 months so the lower the k's the better for me.
Very nice bike though mate!.

No problem, it was only a half-hearted offer, I quite like my bike as well. Best of luck, that's a good price for a K6 with such low mileage.
The offer stands, just incase you get desperate.

My bike is now available for viewing at Colemans Suzuki 6 days of the week. Corner of K'Rd and Gundry St in Auckland for those who don't know where Colemans is. If you are genuinely intersted in it then please speak with Alistair and Alistair only at Colemans or give me a call.
Boomer, I suggest you take your 6 hundy through the car wash then take it in to Colemans and trade it in on my bike.

A few quiet ones and a fukin alcho pop (from DMNTD :( ) and i was feeling brave; popped a 6incher only to squash ma balls! Eddie pulled a nice one only to loose his bar weights.. that was funny seeing that bad boy bounce down the road. i was almost tempted to give yours a handful Ben :p

Is this the bike you have always dreamed of but has unfortunately been financially out of reach?.... well your time to own one of the finest motorcycles on the face of the earth has come......
Finance is now available folks as its in at Colemans.
Through MTF (if purchasing at Colemans) you can ride this bike home for as little as $100/week with around $1500 deposit. Depending on your credit history of course.
Go on treat yourself with an early xmas prezzie, this is the bike you have always dreamed of. Do yourself a favour and go and see Alistair at Colemans today to taylor a finance package to suit. :niceone: :scooter:

The sooner the better really, but I guess I just have to play the waiting game now. Its just gonna sit on the shop floor at Colemans and stay on Trademe until it goes.
I already have another cheap bike lined up to purchase to ride until I head off overseas, so the sooner my GSX-R sells the better for me.

I'm in the market, I just don't have the cash and I have a bike that I will get more as a trade in then a private sale....bloody trade-me has ruined the second hand bike market. I've seen a K5 600 go for just over $8000, thats nearly 50% depreciation.
Anyway mate I'd buy it in a flash, HOWEVER Colemans have a price tag of$18,500 on it at the moment (I assume they will get 10% of the sale or something like that), the problem that occurred to me is they are prepared to let their new K6 1000's go for $19,000 (knocking a grand off list price). I'd stick with the classifieds if I was you - you'll sell it eventually.
If anyone wants to buy a MINT GSXR600K4 for around $12,500 - then I can buy Fishy's Thou, I'll be sticking it on Trade me later this week, I'll post a thread here.

mate $12500 is little much for a k4 600, to be honst with ya. i mean they are an old model now, with the k6 out, old engine etc etc. Alot of things people on a sportsbike want latest and greatest newist model.
The k4 600 were 16k brand new, so you think you have lost no more than a few grand in 2 years, ya dreaming, they are not worth as low as $8k but more range of $10k-$11k. Even with all the mods on my bike(520 chain kit, full yoshi system, bmc, tre, pc3) i be doing good to get about $11k i reckon.
http://www.motorcycletrader.co.nz/DesktopDefault.aspx?UsedBikeID=1855550&TabID=3553&Alias=motorcycletradernz - 05 for 12,995
so easy knock $1500 if selling privatly.

Yes they do have $18,500 on it for people who walk in off the street but for anyone who see's the bike on trademe first will get it for $16,750 if they talk to Alistair @ Colemans and let him know that they have seen it on trademe for that price, otherwise call me and I will sort it out with Alistair so it can be purchased at my sale price.

the thing is mate mine was $16,495 new 18months ago(its really a K5 as far as rego is concerned) and hasn't even done 10K yet (*ahem*, I've been busy). But I hear what your saying, I was thinking of taking off my yoshi pipe and selling that privately anyways. I would expect $11,500 being realistic.
