So you want a quick learners bike, new, but don't want to pay $5,000+.

I bought it in Feb so theres still 6 months factory warranty. It's covered 8,500km and is going for it's third service tomorrow. Always garaged and always given a good warm up before riding, ALWAYS, (ask the neighbours)

Modifications:
-Custom rearsets because the standard pegs are commuter city.
-The stickiest tyres money can buy, dunlop TT900's. unfortunately the rear is quite worn already, they are probaby just too soft for commuting and regular use, I still have the original tyres to go with it and plenty of tread left on those after 7,000km
-Alarm, good for if there are dodgy looking people around, the beep-beep is enough to stop them touching it.

I've written more about it and photo's here

it has crash damage on the left hand side which is not getting fixed (that's why it's so cheap), here is the insurance quote too, there is nothing structural.

reasons for selling,
More power needed :D
I'm stupid <_< selling a brand new bike to buy a 12 year old TZR/NSR/RGV.
Need room for pillion.

It really is a kick ass bike for a learner who has the basics of riding and wants something reliable and fast.

So,, You want $3000 for it, even though it hasn't been fixed?!

I would have thought it would only be worth $3000 after you had fixed it up.
You brought it new for $5000 odd. It devalued $1000 as soon as you rode it off their lot. Plus another $1000 for the 6 months/ 8500km/ 1 crash you've done on it. :argh:

Harsh realties I know!
Maybe I'm wrong.
We'll see what others think.

Hmmmm. New bike, but $3000 sounds a bit rich if it includes crash damage.
Perhaps keep it as a racer? Or sell to a racer?
Still, it may sell quickly on Trademe

Tardme maybe but nah, it's still a 150... I'd say $2500 tops.
Would be interesting to see how it goes against the RG150 :D
