Well I am riding down to auckland this saturday for a new set of tyres.I am going to meet up with death.inc & co in wellsford @ about 10:00am & ride down sh16.Death.inc is going to organize a time & place in Auckland for anyone who is keen to ride up.
If anyone from up this way is keen I will be leavin Whangarei at 9:00am.

I ride pretty fast,draco average speed,but we don't mind waiting every so often,we ride with a few slower riders so by all means come along,the more the better.

have you ever ridden the roads up here?some of the best roads you will find.
I have just moved up from aucks at xmas & have been shown some awesome roads.

The road would be awesome..... ive done a few of the side roads in a car, and i was quite impressed, but didnt like the random patches of gravel, will have to organise MR and i to come up make it a bit of a bigger thing, then you can show us around :niceone:

The road would be awesome..... ive done a few of the side roads in a car, and i was quite impressed, but didnt like the random patches of gravel, will have to organise MR and i to come up make it a bit of a bigger thing, then you can show us around :niceone:

Yeah the maungamukas stays pretty wet in winter & you would want good weather.

Yep I'll be keen. If we are going up that way, I'll prolly wana go and see a really good mate who lives way the f*ck up on the tip almost. So I'll be comming for half the ride at least.

yeah we will be ridin sh16, death is comin up in the mornin to meet me in wellsford(leavin shell westgate at 9am) & will be headin back in the arvo back up 16 then up through mangawai to waipu.

Lots of Cops on Sunday when I was coming back. 2 HP's sitting in Warkworth up a side street with the laser pointing at the northbound vehicles. Must have seen 5-6 HP's.
