KERRY THORNTON.
Thats right folks, Kerry is no longer working for Sawyers motorcycles in Wellington.
Kerry is on leave at the moment and in two weeks he begins at TSS motorcycles in Alicetown, Lower Hutt.
For those of you who don't know who Kerry is, Take it from me, he's one awesome guy. He'll go the extra mile for you. Kerry is passionate when it comes to getting you local folk into some decent riding gear and he will bend over backwards to get you what you are after.
Kerry is abit of an Aprilia fan, so with TSS now having an Aprilia dealership, Kerry will be right at home. Kerry also owns two Aprilias and two Triumphs.
After having smoko with Kerry yesterday, he was contemplating the move and after a good chat about TSS, Kerry dived in head first, saying "Thats it, I'm gonna do it, and it's all my fault!"
So off went Kerry to ring his wife and deliver the good news.
So great stuff for TSS and great stuff for the local Hutt riders, Kerry will be looking to stock a fair few more up market items and product range, such as Alpinestars, Spidi and Shift and I bet he'll bring the Shark helmet range with him too
Congratulations TSS and Kerry!!!

Good on you TSS - you have got a good one in Kerry. Unfortunately it will be me who has to go the extra mile now because I don't live or work out that way. Sawyers/Motorad for me is handy walking distance for a lunchtime stroll from work however I am not as likely to go there at all now.

yeah, he's an awesome dude, hooked me and Mrs It up with gear at good prices, with good advice, and took the time to answer all our stupid questions as well! Such a shame Motorad is closer to me... Might be worth the ride out tho, especially on a nice day...

Crikey, TSS will need bigger premises the way they are going!
Good luck to Kerry, I've always found him helpful.

Well, I have to agree on this one. He is a great guy and gets things done if you ask him. He also has a way of getting things first and cheaper than all the other shops....He is going to be a great asset for TSS. Good luck with the new job Kerry.

NO!
It is only a rumor everyone stay in Wellington at least untill TSS have finished fixing my bike. ( about another week )
I do not need crowds of noddies standing round preventing the boys from fixing my toy.
Saywers is a loverly shop. I am sure they have lots of adoring staff just waiting to see you all.

Well coincidentally, I have just been in to TSS to see what all the fuss was about. Not really that impressed. Ive seen more stock in one of Mrs Ceebie's casseroles! Maybe Kerry is about to change all that. Good guys there though, can't deny that.

The only shop with more stock is WMCC and that's including all the branded HD and Triumph stuff.
Most of the Wellington shops carry a similar level of stock as TSS. TSS don't help themselves by sticking it in a badly lit corner. I reckon a skylight would help heaps.

Dropped in on Saturday myself and talked to Richard Palmer so he is still there. Seemed to be a lot of people working in the shop for a smallish shop, not sure why they'd need an extra man in Kerry. Maybe I should be going there for all our Yamaha stuff.

Was talking to Kerry on Saturday. He is looking forward to starting in there on Monday the 13th.
It will great to have an Aprilia dude that I know at the Aprilia dealer.
