I eventually took off in between the showers and it stopped raining for me all the way home...... wohooooooooo.

Great night, i hit the wall when i heard the birds chirping and could clearly see everything outside, Anne got to bed at 8.30am !!!!!....:zzzz:

well, since I went along, I thought I'd better post.. Very fun afternoon/evening.. Met up with QK KID, QKCHK and arghh... some other guy on a silver R1.. at the QK's house.. Fun ride through woodcock rd.. definitely better than the horrible traffic (damn you, you U2 :p) on my way up on the SH-1..

Got to Maha's, and then doog-doog-doog-doog.. a what? a big V-Twin.. surely this can't be.. wait.. it's overshot the driveway.. it's backing up.. *LAUGHTER* it's DMNTD on an Harley Davidson '03 V-Rod (I shit you not).. and he loves it..

Rest of the night went on, I decided to get some sleep at 4am, but SOME PEOPLE think it's funny to attack sleeping people with ice.. GRRRRRR (all good though)..

What I've learnt:
1) short people can't ride harleys, even if their feet can reach the ground..
2) Maha's Trumpy revs nicely :D :D :D
3) Noel spent at least 5 minutes sitting on, and admiring the V-Rod

Had a sweet CRUISE down on an oversized lawnmower(V Rod) which I have to say I enjoyed a great deal even though I got both sides scrapping through some corners :shutup:
Had a good night with plenty of laughter and trouble makers but naturally I was on my best behaviour as per usual so I have no idea who the fark it was in the posted pic's...looks like a fruitcake anyway!

hey everyone, guess what i did today?

Since you can't guess, I'll tell you.. went to WINJA's place with Sayam5.. WINJA got a little boat with a 45hp motor, and we did some laps on the Waikato River, towing a seabiscuit :) was mighty fun.. then decided to have a 'look' at the 22, so headed out of Ngaruawahia and followed that through Glen Murray way, until we hit the Raglan turnoff, where I gave 2 american chicks directions (haha they couldn't work out how to get to Huntly....even with a map..)

Travelled down that raglan road off the 22, past the section of gravel road, nice pace, followed up this one left hander at about 90km, and then suddenly it disappeared and transformed into the nicest looking downward perfectly cambered 60ish km/h right hand sweeper.. now remember, i'm thinking it's a 90km left sweeper, and suddenly everything has gone to shit.. GRRRRR well, long story short, hit the brakes, back locked up as soon as it hit the first bit of loose stones/gravel, half into someone's driveway, towards a fence, and literally stopped 10cm from the fence, then fell off to the right of the bike.. I'm fine, except my foot's a tiny bit sore, but should be ok in the morning.. my bike? well.. thanks to people who live in the middle of nowhere, my bike got to lie down on a nice bunch of knee high grass, so only the mirror broke off.. got back up, took some pictures of the road, and the fact that there weren't any 'warning' roadsigns, and then we went on our way (Sayam5 was a bit behind me on his Comet GT250).. rest of the ride was great, and didn't have any of the 'standardish' loss of confidence around corners :) See everyone at Busa_Pete's on Saturday :)
