LOTUS stands for: Loads Of Trouble Usually Serious.
Twat must have put lifting points in wrong place.
Saw a car being lifted on a ramp style one with door open. The top of door got jambed under mezzonine floor. Cars suspension got totaly loaded up on that side before the operator noticed. Not a lot of damage. Can't beleive glass didn't brake.

Asymmetric arms on hoists mean with the engine in the rear, they put the car on the wrong way around!

(Any one need a new hoist...?:innocent: )

With the engine in the rear the CG is well back, unless you can get the pickup arms well back they are marginal, taking the front wheels off is enough to flip them off.Can happen with SWB vans and 4x4's with diesel engines too, take the back wheels off and they end up on their nose. You need to give it a bounce test a metre off the ground.....even then if I don't trust it,it doesn't go up.
