Man ive had some huuge ups and downs over the last 2 weeks. Ive had day's when I couldnt get outta bed and days when ive been bouncing off the walls! Ive had so much on my plate there were times I just wanted to hide away from everyone. But Ive just had some great news today that I just had to share....
I HAVE JUST BEEN OFFERED A NEW JOB!!!! Its basically a promotion within the MOJ and it comes with more money! Ive been pretty stressed out waiting to hear for the last two weeks but its all been worth it. My new boss wanted me to start Monday but seeing as im going up to Auckland to pick up my new bike I will be starting on Weds....
I cant quite believe that my last day in my current position is tomorrow after just over 4 years of working with the same people!
I find it interesting that along with excitement there is alot of fear... Im nervous about riding back form Auckland on a bike I have never ridden before and im nervous as hell about starting a job that is going to be hard. But for the last year ive just kind of been cruising happily along and I knew it was time for a challenge. I just didnt know it was all going to happen at once!
On Sunday I sit my Full Licence test then on Monday I fly to Auckland and pick up my new bike. Then the day after that I start a new job. Wow, I think I need a beer!

Awesome Str8. In times of stress I kinda think 'whats the worst thing that could happen? ...is it really that bad? ...and whats really the likelyhood of it happening?".
I hope you have a good 'next 7 days'.

Congrats and awesome... all rolled into one!
My sis used to work for them (now works for Parliamentary Services in Wellywood). She loved her job with the MOJ, working alongside a judge doing a review of somethingorather.
Very important anyway!

Where and when are you going to be in Auckland?
She be arriving on Monday at 12 noon at the airport..... getting a lift over to Devonport...... and then departing from there, down the southern Motorway with a KB escort down to Hamilton and then Taupo. Stopping over night at Taupo........ and continueing on her way meeting up with more KBers till she gets back home...
Oh the reason: She be picking up her new bike from Frosty.
So you gotta be real quick to catch up and meet her....
The escort group will be over at Devonport at around 1pm awaiting her presence.

Incredibly cool!! Congrats!! What time you heading out from Taupo on Tuesday? Maybe the Welly KBers could head up and meet you somewhere and take over from the Taupo escorts? :)
Last weekend was my big weekend... I'd just bought a rifle and scope the week before, so was looking forward to go out and sight it in on Saturday... Just before heading out, Biketranz rang to say they could deliver the bike that day! Woohoo!! New gun AND new bike on the same day! Just missing the full license... 12 Dec... :)
