Anyone in Welly has a spare 250 knocking about? I've bought an RF900 and sold my 250, so now need 1 to ride around for about a month, till I take my full license test on Dec 14th.

I'm a gentle rider and if I break it, I'll buy it.

Thanks!

A lot of the blokes in Auckland on big bikes don't even have licences - just ride yer new bike and keep quiet.

Got an old GN that's not being used at the moment but that'd be a bit of a nightmare to go down to!!

It also needs some TLC but if you're really stuck, give us a yell.

Haha! I was cosidering a 125 scooter! Depending on its condition, a ginny will do fine. What does it need to be brought back to health?

The front forks are a bit spongy (so hubby says) - he says the seals need doing or something. And it's just a generally old bike - very soft suspension, sits rather low and I find it somewhat uncomfortable (which is OK cos I don;t have to ride it!).

It only has one wing mirror too!

It's fully warranted and rego'd tho.

I'd need to talk it over with hubby first but he's in the air at the mo so watch this space...... :D

Yup, no worries... it'll just be my commuter bike between Newlands and town, and for my test... I won't do any blatting on it.

Well That was a bit silly... Licence then bike, PM if you get really stuck closer to the date of the test.

Haha... yes... I'll blame youthful exuberance for that... Plus, it was a stunning bike! :) Plus quick sale, so there...

Wasp> I'm not sure YOUR bandit in it's current state would do any better than a pushbike! :)

hehe, for once I feel smart. As long as I pass my test on Sunday I will have my Full Licence then the bike goes that evening. Then I have 2 days off work to ride my new BIG bike back from Auckland. Oh yeah, im da man! :p

Good luck for your Full, im sure that you'll be fine though!
