This is very dissapointing, Johnny can you please TXT me (0210300202) the meet/food location, I might be able to stop in on the way down to Tauranga (i'll be leaving around 12 - 1 pm).
I haven't had a pie in so long, they use to be my breakfast on the way to work, steak and mushroom freshly made, mmmm.

Bloody good day in the end, met some new peeps, had a little blast along some mint roads (at no time over 100):gob: , no cops and no bins, and no one got lost, and we had yummo chippies and fish at Kaiaua, and a beer and a yak.
Rider of the day is Johhny Rotten, for organising it and for keeping up a good pace on the 2 fiddy. You also get dumbass of the day too, lol, you know why... now wheres the fire service when you need it??
Went to Riff Raffs after and saw White Trashes mint paint job. So all in all a good day.
Came home to figure out how to work this HDD DVD recorder thingy that has appeared in my lounge. Wallets somewhat lighter.
yeah well the 100 ml of oil in my air box was a sweet reminder when i got home.....

Would that have been you lot heading South into kawakawa bay around 1.15pm. I had just gone for a quick blast out to orere point and back as I am still in the process of unpacking from the house shift but needed to get out on the bike on some twisties. I was heading North just around the corner from Kawakawa bay and waved at a whole bunch of people on bikes.
I was on the black GSX1400 with the blue HJC helmet.
Was you lot then??? Should have spun around and ridden with you's for a bit but had too much on anyway. :(

Forget 16 on a saturday mate, its swarming with caravans, trailers, nana's going to visit kiddies, and now it will be the Plods, cause you've notified them.
For an alternative, PM me johnny and organise this by PM or have the Five-0 on your tail all day. My plan involves fish and chips.....
What's it going to be like when they build that new shopping mall up there?

cheers Johnny for the ride.
Struggled to make it to Kaiaua before I died of hunger pains, and the busy fish and chips shop didnt help much either.
But was a good day all round (as any day on the bike is)
Respect for the big smokies too JR...was initially assumed to be tyre smoke but ah well.
Good to see Buddy L back on the bike who was riding like a little school boy who'd just been given back a confiscated slingshot.

Yep, should have done but if you haven't met some new faces before you aren't always sure if people are on KB or not and there are a minority who do not appreciate other riders just joining in.
Seems to be these days that just about everyone is on KB anyway so shouldn't have been a problem.
It's always much more pleasant riding with others though. On you own is okay but nothing beats a small group having a good ride :)
Was nice to get out even for a little while last Saturday. Weather was warm and nice,
Good to hear you guys had a good ride.
