Theres wheelie bins all across the road, cyclists getting blown infront of my car....... and when I get home the bike has blown over on the concrete and the powers out.........

Now the powers out and I'm running the inverter from the car..... bloody nice day in Orkland :shit:

:gob:

Got one especially nasty side on gust coming up the southern mway, almost ended up in the median then got thumbs up from the people in the car next to me :2thumbsup

but yea, dodging branches and other debris all over the place and struggling to keep the bike up when stopped at lights isnt much fun .... :shit:

What do you need done to your deck? Decks are easy. Don't pay someone zillions of dollars - Do it yourself. Seriously. A hand saw, drill, hammer some nails and bolts is all you need. If you want a picture have a look at Placemakers or Carters web sites. Or I can draw you one with the bits you'll need.

You light-weights wouldn't know proper wind even if it was properly windy. Just a brisk fart from the weather God's shorts is what you's are getting. Now down here in Wellington....

9th November 2006, 19:12
Gee man decks are really easy to build.......
I've built many......

Go to your local library and get out books on "How to build a deck"
It aint over 1 metere high is it... cos if it is then you need a permit..
If under one metre high then no permit is required.

but if you are replacing the excisting deck that is over 1 metre high then you are ok.... as long as one bit of it is left there...lol.

Or have a working bee around at yours one weekend.. with those who have the tools and know what they are doing.... and it will be done real quick... then you just put on a BBQ and a few bevies...

BTW the bevies are for after the work on the deck is completed....
