@#%&*^&%^$%$% Would you know it! I arrived at work yesterday to be told that I have no Licence plate on my bike???!!!! WTF??? :gob: It was there and secured nicely the day before!

So I am assuming that unless both the bolts decided to come undone at the same time (possible but unlikely!!) i would have to think that someone else wanted the plate for unknown reason:angry:

So I spent yesterday afternoon getting a new plate and changing my insurance etc..... what a pain in the butt :angry2:
After a trip to the :Police: and the local AA Shop I now have a shiney new plate :done: and thanks to Dangerous who attatched the above said plate  (they give you a new plate with no holes in it ???!!!! Like I have the tools to do it!!:wait: )

So if anyone sees my old plate, let me know 28RHL

Nyloc nuts are good. :niceone: ...... I keep my Rego and WOF under the rear seat cowl instead of bolted to the number plate.
One ride before that, the WOF sticker managed to get sucked out of a tiny gap in the plastic holder somehow.... !@#$ $7.50 for a replacement.

Yeah I know how you feel.........

Mine disappeared a few weeks back as well.......
never to be seen or found again.....

I was right peeved off as I had like a personalised number plate yet it wasnt if you know what I mean...(Think of the year the springbok TOR with all the clashes and fights)

Yeah and in the road code it states you are not to deface the number plate in any way...... like hello how the hell are you to attach it if it has no predrilled holes in it....lol

Apparently thou that car number plates are predrilled as they are a standard plate to fit on any car........ but bikes are set up different for every type of bike hence there being no holes in them.

I have mine attached with 3 holes until I can find some kind person who can bend this aliminim plate to the shape of my rear mudguard and then glue with some stuff into place and then potrivet it on to the rear mudguard...
Then I can re attach my number plate in the correct place. (want BLACK rivits)

Reason its not in the right place at the moment is that I have 1 inch of metal to play with which has 2 great big flaming holes in it. So I have to re custom fit this plate to attach the plate to it.

the fuckers use them for gas runners. They swipe your clean plates and pop them onto their vehicle, fill up with gas and gaps it. That way they can't be traced and they dump the plates afterwards.

Saw that on the news, but didn't realise that they were doing bikes as well! Shit who can't afford $20 dollars?

Think I'll weld mine on - cost me $500 for that plate - don't wanna lose it.
