injected models are far better than carbed

looking for a 900SS myself and would not even waste my time looking at one with carbs

This site has tons of info. (http://www.ducatimonster.org/) It should keep you amused, but it may also put you off buying one in the first place

In a blind test only pub poets claim to be able to tell the difference,
most are injected now, I have a carbed monster, l love it and have ridden it for 60,000ks and had a great time as it has wheels and makes noise.
I ride with a DS1000, S4, and Cagiva Raptor and have no probs
cheers

Hey jimjim. I owned a 97' M750 for 30k, riding it all over queensland and to be honest had shit loads of problems with it. But it was a great naked bike with plenty of character.
Dark is a black only model without 'fruit'.
Make sure whatever you get has a complete service history and is checked out.

Dark is what the room was when they assembled the bike, randomly grabbing stuff from the Ducati parts bins[1].

Cheers,

It's supposed to be apostrophised: D'ark. Named after the biblical boat from whence it came. Some French bint called Joan rode one. Apparently. Hmmm, Milla...

other than the matt black appearance, pretty sure darks often come with just a single front disk.
