In the light of this: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?p=820865#post820865
And the fact that now my hand is better and I haven't been on a decent ride for AGES!!! I was thinking about going to the Flying fish cafe for the 26th. If anyone else is interested in going for a ride there on the Sunday it should be a fun ride.
Besides my new CBR hasn't been for a good ride yet.
I only know of boring highway to Martinborough though so if we can find someone with better road knowledge around these parts that would be great!

Ok here is a really good route. The bit from Pahiatua to Alfredton is a little hazy in my memory, maybe someone can remember that from last time?

Oh and the bit between Westmere and Moreland is not that twisty. I just forgot to deselect the road name! :innocent:

That looks pretty cool. I think I've been on that road between Masterton and Martinborough once but not the road from ekatahuna. Anyhow, I'd probably get hopelessly lost by myself anyway. 2 weeks to go, better get my suspension sorted out by then...

From memory its pretty straightforward. I have done it with a few others from Palmy. KLOWN was there but he decided a different route would suit him on the day :dodge: :p

Yes I seem to be rather elusive. Not intentional.

my rear suspension is screwed, its like riding on a trampoline, also my water pump is leaking but I should be able to come anyway.

Yeah, my rear feels like shit at the moment too. Just bought a C spanner from AFC so I'll be taking all my rear fairings off to get to it. (can't get the adjustment done with the bloody fairing on...)
anyhow, if anyone needs to use a C spanner, let me know.

Looks like the Wairarapa will be overflowing with bikes that weekend, what with the sprints at Carterton and the Kinsmen's run as well.
