View Full Version : Cagiva DNA - anyone ever ridden one?
I've wondered what they are like, ever since I first saw them when they were launched in the UK.
They seem to me like an ideal machine for 'local riding', by which I mean nipping round the local roads, maybe picking up a spot of shopping.
I've heard handling on them is supposed to be decent - and as a local tool, automatic gearing has to be fine (lets face it, working up and down the 'box' in pack traffic is a bore).
So... does anyone have any first-hand experience of riding one? If so, then 'Wots it like Mister?'

Well, if you search the web for "Gilera DNA" you may find what you're looking for.

i think it comes in a 250 model, so a scootery bike. Still looks pretty cool if ya ask me, i wish my 85 suzi had that styling :2guns:

True - but what I wanted to hear was the opinion of someone who'd ridden and/or owned one, rather than finding a 'professional' review on a corporate website.
So I was hoping someone here may have thrown a leg over one.

It was more of a comment that Gilera would get you more of a result than Cagiva.
I'm biased though :)

Meant to say, that price is for the 180,125 is dearer for some reason.A lot of interest-free credit card deals around at the moment so well-worth thinking about.

You have a point there!

The DNA and Runner use the same motor.
The 125's are faster and easier t hot up than the 180's.
