Can someone please advise who in NZ imports these Yoshi systems for bikes? I work with a guy who has a full system on his gixxer and needs some parts.

Thanks :D

My understanding is that the importer is Ray Clee (of fairly fast GSXR1000 fame). WT, I'm sure you have it sorted though.

Not any more. Ray Clee dumped Yoshi last year.

Apparently, if you make a Yoshimura enquiry now, they direct you to us.

Using the word "dumped" makes it sound like he found something better and left you guys with the rubbish. Or did he not pay his bills and they dumped him?

Can't comment because I don't know. I'd hardly think you'd find better than Yosimura though.

Could just be that because of Yoshimuras limited market here in NZ, they thought it best to leave it to Matt Mladin to service both here and Australia. We made a few enquiries and ordered some bits from Mladins and now they point all NZ queries to us.

You wont hear me complaining.

All gone, sorry Ken.

I'll do some scavenging and see what I can find though.

I had a 1200ss with Yoshi full titanium headers and stainless muffler. Yum.

If you are just running the stock pipes it is easy to adapt any muffler of your choice with a mid-pipe.

Ive had to go akra headers and Yoshi cans to retain double Muffler system on mine.
Akra have the complete double system for mine but almost 3k to buy it.
Yoshi/Akra is almost half.

Motorad, Welly got the Yoshi r77 cans for me at a great price.

HAve a sniff around somewhere like ww.denniskirk.com - in their outlet store you often find half price twin muffler set-ups. They won't be for your specific bike but a pair of cans for a Busa or similar will be able to be adapted to your machine with some care.

Nice pair here for a ZX14 ........ https://www.denniskirk.com/yoshimura/tri-oval-race-dual-stainless-slip-on-w-aluminum-end-cap.p4404826.prd/4404826.sku

Or the other end of the muffler market is DanMoto - they stock mufflers for your ride cheaper than a parlour whore.

There blardy expensive for a bit of tubing with fibreglass in it. I bought mine of an adventure from trademe for $100, then cut it down to suit my bike. All done for $250ish.
