Tonight we attended a showing of The Last Hurrah (Des Molloy presented the show) in Palmerston North. Wonderful doco and great talk by Des, but a disappointing turnout - just 14, and of those, 11 were from the Central Districts Motorcycle Touring Club!

He is showing the DVD tomorrow night in New Plymouth at the Top Town Theatre at 7.30pm - that's Wednesday November 15. I'd like to hope that a few more people will go along and support him as we thoroughly enjoyed the show.

I would put this in the meetings and events section but that is mostly for rides and the like and I thought hopefully it will get more views in this section.

He has copies of the DVD and also book for sale - $31 and $28 respectively, but if you buy both, the price is $50. Well worth it.

Ha! I was sitting right in front of you! Andy and I were on the right hand side, next to the older guy - I was in black and am not much taller than you (5'1") and he was wearing jeans. Small world! Good that our club put on such a good showing, but I think it was a poor turn out considering how many riders there are in Palmy - hell, we even drove up from Levin for it!
