Aprilia NA 850

Aprilia are releasing a new naked. Has a nice compact motor. Could be a nice bike for those wanting a naked. I'm not sure weather automatic transmission would be popular. Any pro's and con's?

Not too bad, they had a Mana protoype a few years back fitted with the Mille engine & transmisson.

Pretty cool, but would have preferred it if they'd kept the thou engine and box. I can understand them not doing this however, as they already have the Tuono. Dunno about an auto, but its bound to appeal to certain markets. In a manual, it'd be a great way to get through rush hour traffic.

Also great to see Aprilia is working hard to crack open new markets and come up with different ideas.

Not a fan of forward sloping tanks and droopy headlights on nekids. I think they look good when they're riderless but less so when on the road with a rider.
