Was supposed to have been live broadcast from Laguna Seca by Sky TV at 06:55 today. OK, I could not track down a definate timeline so that I could set my VCR. I would wait for the replays scheduled at 16:30 and 21:00.
Did not manage to arrive home in time to see the start, but the racing was excellent. Hoped to see more at 21:00 but alas - GOLF.
Call 0800 759 759 and tie up their lines.

I was just checking for the race myself and saw it scheduled for 9.00pm - though feck Ive missed half of it - changed channels in anticipation and WTF.......feckn GOLF.
Straight on the blower to SKY - was told the cricket ran later than expected hence the delay....so who feckn cares, I like golf slightly less than I like cricket, which is five eights of feck all.
Anyway, make your voice heard and complain - but do it politely, especially if its 'Tash' (she seemed kinda nice  - and also said that bikers and soccer fans were the hardest to deal with when they complain....oi feckn oi).
Its the squeaky wheel that gets the oil...so they say.
Apparently SBK will be on at 5.00am and again at 5.00pm on Wednesday.
Definately worth watching. I watched both races from 4:30 this avo and they were both awesome, just about as good as the motogp, but not quite. Alot better than the schumacher show on last night.

What a fuckin' rip. Especially after Sky wanked on about the fact they have got live WSB after all the MotoGP fiasco. In fact Sky can now ram thier poxy subscription up their pooh hole as I'm sick of this shit. Cricket, or golf my arse.

Hear hear - I only got Sky cause reception was not good up on the hill, and there is no competition (no cable in street).

Just sent an e-mail to Jill @ Sky on this. (below)
Will post the reply when it arrives.
"Hi Jill,
you may recall my e-mail earlier this year regarding my disappointment that Sky were not showing the MotoGP.
Well, I recall that you basically promised coverage of the World Superbike races, yet I now see that the latest round of SBK has been delayed until Wednesday and is not live at all.
Is there any reason for this unsatisfactory service from Sky TV ?"

Yep that was the straw that broke the camels back to my sky subscription and the're gonna know it! Remember folks we can always vote with our feet , maybe if enough of us do so we might even get motoGP again

Managed to see it last night - wicked race (race 1 especially). I was waiting for Toseland and Laconi to take each other out !
Good to see young Chris Vermuellen kicking ass, and on a track he hadn't raced as well.
Yamahaman - I got a reply from Jill Dicken at SKY saying the race was live at 6.55am Monday on SKY Sport 3. Did you have the wrong channel or was it definetely not on ? Sport three is not listed in the July programing guide, but there was mention of it at the front under sports summary.
It wasnt advertised in the skywatch or on the little boxes that come up on sky satellite. I believe champ cars were advertised live in that time spot. I looked on sunday night.

I just got sky sat last weekend.
saw the 2nd race at laguna seca which was my first sbk race i've seen in years.
all i can say was that i was so bored i nearly fell asleep. probably one of the most boring races i've ever seen. plus i can't tell who's riding what they all look the same now just different colours. don't get me wrong i know those riders are unbelievable but i just saw a purely technical race which did nothing for me. what has happened to superbike in the space of a couple years???

Check out race 1 if possible - simply brilliant (and not just cause the Honda won) - Toseland and Laconi were bumping elbows and fairings in the battle for 4th place. They nearly ran off the track once or twice - the team manager must have been having kittens.
As for Sky's programming schedules :kick:
