At 9:34 Am this morning my son was born.

Mother and baby both well. Father still recovering and requiring drip-fed alcohol!

I can still vividly remember my wife just about deliver our daughter, lying there legs akimbo with, the midwife (one of her mates) peering where the action's taking place, "Come on Louise, you're doing really well, nearly there.. push again now... I can see baby's head now... what a lovely head of ginger hair!"

Louise stopped pushing, lol.
