Blow me down, I'm quite tempted from the brief glimpse I saw on the ad. Nice enough twin-suspension frame at least, and for $150.
Now, I also tire of the modern trend for supermarket retail (I know someone who bought a 6-man tent from Countdown, wtf.......), but I'd at least like to know the exact model it is so I can investigate.
Any clues?

I Quite Like This New Retail Trend , Ive Bought A Few Things Now That I Woulda Had To Have Bought Elsewhere And At A Really Good Price As Well, Last Thing I Bought Was A 8 Litre Weed Sprayer Which Was Better Than The Warehouse Equivelent And Much Cheaper.
Go Check The Bike Out And Just Remember It Is A $150 Bike Some Mtb Guys Pay That Much For A Tyre

i've seen it, and although i probably wouldn't buy one myself, it doesn't look too bad..

I bought a $30 racer bike on tarde me - then a helmet from the whorehouse cost me $40. Its probably made from recycled rusty baked bean tins but for that money who cares? Get super fit and waste guys on their $4500 bikes.

You don't buy that sort of crap from supermarkets.
Got a bike from Woolworths once about 2 years ago. Opened it up and the bike was bent. Took it back got another one. On this one you needed someone to stand on the front forks to able to get the nut on the wheel.
Took it back and got money back.
Next one we got from Kmart. That stayed in one piece for all of 2 weeks before the central pedal assembly completely fell off mid ride.
Took that back
Paid a bit more and got a decent bike from a reputable shop...........and guess what no issues.
You get what you pay for is all I can say

Rip off! Come to the hutt, 5 dollar!
I was at the local one today, and there were none around. Hopefully they get some in so I can get a closer look.
ZeroIndex, do you happen to recall the manufacturer and/or model?

Don't assume that everything from warehouse is cheap though...
I paid $40 for a bicycle helmet at warehouse... (the cheap kind where the outer shell is glued onto the EPP... barely) then I realised how crap it was and I didn't feel like dying too much so went to a proper bicycle shop and got this nice helmet with the shell moulded onto the EPP for 45 (that's the kind you want)..... Hmmmm........
