The missus was checking out pictures of herself on KB last night and said "You'll have some company on your way to work this week - it's national Ride Your Bike to Work day".

"How the Fark did you find that out Mrs McJim/Chickadee?" said I.

"It's on the KB website...look"

http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/calendar.php?do=getinfo&day=2006-11-22&e=1026&c=1

Hadn't noticed it myself (spend too much time looking for funny shit), I looked for a thread promoting it too but couldn't find one so thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention by starting a thread. Don't let me and the regular 2 wheeled commuters be lonely on Wednesday - leave the cage at home.

Thanks CaN for posting up the event in the first instance.

PS this is a National event - you can do it in Invercargill too.

what the fuck is a celibate homosexual relationship?

It usually consists of lesbians that were so badly damaged in t'head by having Uncle Vern's dick shoved into them at age four that they prefer to hold hands and chat over the occasional cup of tea rather than get off.

I'll be riding to work - even if it is only 4 k's...takes me longer to get my gear on than it does to ride to work
Stupid cage has shat itself, so I don't really have any choice.

I always ride to work.

Just another day in the saddle, admiring myself in Lou's shop window as I wait at the Khyber Pass lights.

Andrea your bike has my name on it

Is it just me or are there more and more VTR's commuting on our roads?

I used to see Ginny's everywhere but now I'm seeing 5 VTR's when I commute (2 are heading south on the Southern...a silver one and a blue one then there's a red one that turns right onto the motorway Northbound at Nelson street and then there's Johnny Rotten if I'm running early and he's running late..he can then laugh at me abusing the cage drivers on the way past).

Will this profusion reduce the value of our bikes?

I ride to work everyday so don't see why tomorrow should be any different.

See y'all out there.
