Ive just fitted a small fairing to my old commuter bike.
I was taking it out up and down my road when my lil master 3 gave me his best "mee daddy" look
Put his lid and stuff on him and away we went.
He decided it was His turn to ride--so I put him on the tank and away we went-first of all me hanging onto the bars then leaving him to it--Yea this kids got style- He has throttle control mastered and has the full race crouch sussed--Thank gosh he cant reach the gear shift or Ill be losing my bike

Onya mate.
Nicholas has just started getting his first rides around the house on the bike. He sits at the front of me (well he actually stands) and holds on to the grips as he leans right over the tank. Pretty damn good for a 20-month-old. I swear that boy is obsessed. Seriously - his first word was "bike"...
Tim continues to improve with his pillioning, and Gini's slowly relenting and letting me take him further each time. Little steps at the moment, but she's coming around.
I personally think it's healthy to introduce them to bikes at a young age. My father did it for me and I turned out allright (well mostly).

Haha...fark that's cool Frosty...as much as I'm thankful to my olds, I'd have loved to get in to bikes WAY earlier.
Sounds like a pocket bike will make his Christmas :niceone:

When's a good age to put the offspring on a pillion seat (my oldest is nearly 3...even when the bike is parked up in the garage he ALWAYS gives the throttle a twist as he passes by...just in case)

When they are physically capable of being safe on the bike, they need to be able to be secure, feet on pegs, that sort of thing, then you need to decide whether they are going to leap around with the excitement and cause other problems when riding, saying that are little ride round the yard or other safe environment is good for the encouragement.
I have spent alot of time in the hospital recently after my wife was knocked off her bike, there was a dad there who had taken his 4 year old daughter for a ride, (on grass) she fell off and broke her leg, he was felling really bad about it... so whatever you do take care:scooter:
