Where's Rove when you need him?

I couldn't resist buying this from Paper Plus today. Not because I'm a fan of the show, I've never actually watched it, but because well, check it out for yourself!

Yes, it's entitled GROW YOUR OWN! GROWS 600% ITS SIZE IN WATER ... IN 72 HOURS - and what is IT? It's Peter, so yes ladies (and gents who perhaps are less well endowed than they'd like!), you can now grow your own peter!

I pointed it out to the owner of the shop who could hardly stop laughing, especially the bit on the bottom: WARNING - CHOKING HAZARD - small parts, not for children under 3 years.

I love the instructions on the back too - Place your grow item in room temperature water. It will begin to grow within 2 hours and will be full size in 72 hours. When removed from water it will slowly shrink back to its original size. Your grow item can be grown again and again!!! For entertainment purposes only. Not for consumption.

He wasnt on our screen last Friday night, as his wife had just past away from cancer that week.
(in case you didn't know as not everyone, had heard the news)

Im not sure if he will be on this week.

But you can send it over to him and they do show stuff that is sent over from NZ.

He has a website with a P.O. Box number on it, to send stuff to.

Yes, I knew Rove's wife had passed away, very sad.

I may hold onto it (oo er!) and send it to him when he (hopefully) gets the show up and running again.

Christ, I give up - has no one found this item funny? I was not posting about Rove, I'd have to live in outer Mongolia to not know his wife had died and he would not be doing his show until next year at the earliest, I just thought the fact you could buy a Peter that increases 600% when you put it in water was funny.

Obviously not. I give up!
