Just saw someone on the shoulder 500m from the Onewa off-ramp, South bound, about 15mins ago

They were standing next to their bike so I guessed it was broken down or what not. I couldn't stop to offer what little help I could of as I was in the far right lane and only just saw him as I went past.

Donno if it's one of our boys?

If the person is on 2 wheels then they are "one of our boys", regardless.

Abit late now crashe lol.

I would of stopped if I could of and had seen him earlier.

Besides I wouldn't be much use, but it's beside the point :)

A few weeks back, I pulled alongside a guy who was working on his cruiser by the side of the road. I'm not much good with metal things at the best of times, but thought I'd see if there was anything I could do to assist. Turns out his toolkit was a bit limited and couldn't get something undone. I was close to home so shot back there and got my tools. He knew what was wrong with the bike and proceeded to fix it.

Had a good feeling for the rest of the day for doing something to assist - and had a smile under the helmet thinking about the sprot/cruiser/(insert any other type of bike here) jibes that get thrown around, and how we'll still help one another.:done:

I didn't - I then went on to marry a lovely kiwi lass (who won't let me move back to the UK until I've at least tried NZ for 5 years...sigh...)

Did the fella/lassie get their bike fixed then or should I get off me fat arse in Ponsnobby office and go assist?

Or they could pop into AMPS for spares?
