Just to put things into perspective.
Today I had to spend almost the whole day on the road, going here there and everywhere.
Just out of interest, I kept score. One the one hand , I counted the instances of notable courtesy or noticeably competant driving . And on the other, the instances of dangerous or generally cuntish driving. In both cases, observed, me not necessary the recipient of .
Result. 9 good guys to 2 bad guys.
Overall, I think drivers are pretty good. Of course the down side is the good guys just make life a bit easier. The bad guys can kill us.
Just thought it was time for a bit of positive reinforcement. Try it yourself, look out for the good stuff. You'll be surprised how common it is , if you look for it.

"Good cunt" is a term of approbation. Like "He's a real good bastard". Which is of course the exact oppositer of "he's a first class bastard" .Get with the idiom.

i drove cambridge-wellington-cambridge today. not ONE complaint really. averaged 115km/h until Bulls, then hit the rain and traffic. felt a bit sorry for all the bikers - especially the one on the XB12 heading south on the desert rd at about 3.30 in driving sideways rain......
saw a few disco cars - mostly in the manwatu/kapiti. the Bell saved me $500 just north of Tawa where a red camera van was parked in the northbound just over the brow of the hill.

Auckland Drivers Are Usually Ok , Waikato Drivers Are All Cunts , They Cant Use A Roundabout And Indication Is Random At Best , A Prime Example Of Waikato Drivers Is That I Had One With Me For The Day And As I Slowed And Waved Someone In He Said Wtf Are You Doing Dont Let Them In , Then Driving With Him Was A Fucken Nightmare Talk About Ignorant , Waikato Drivers Particularly Hamilton Drivers Havent Woken Up To The Fact That Traffic Is Here And It Getting Worse And The Only Way To Ease Your Day Is To Be A Little Courteous.

actually - auckland drivers just all drive the same, so it seems like they're ok, but in reality you're driving to stay alive most of the time - watching for red light runners, stop signs etc.
i agree hamilton drivers are arrogant, but not all, and that's what makes them dangerous.
and the discos do target sh2 maramarua, but the reality is that is is so busy, it's actually quite hard to ping, as there's so much light flashing/radar detector use, and you wouldn't want for cops to be hidden or using mufti cars would you? that just wouldn't be fair

What is a family doing crossing a main highway in first place.......even if the speed limit was 50k it is still dumb....sorry but the way people cross roads in this country is frightening.....I see people cross roads a few metres from crossings, at junctions, you name it......

I was a bad cunt today, I was in a bad bad mood as I left work and I sped angrily through town, past the beehive at 70kph, ran a red light, all the way home passing cars any old how, and nearly got wiped by a bus which was on the wrong side of the white line. It was one foot of near miss, me going 70 in my lane, the bus going about 40 and it was in my lane too.
Apart from the bus bit I was a cunty cunt today. Arrg! Angry!
Reminder to self, don't ride bike when angry.

They Cant Use A Roundabout
Its a Hamilton thing to have big fuck off round abouts every where but no one can use them properly. Happens in other towns with lots of round abouts as well.

i agree with waikato not knowing how to use a roundaboutand you mention letting someone in thats ok but when you let them in and they are going at pace slower than normal, to me thats as bad as one taking off at intersection at slow motion and oblivious to whats behind them, these are the people that arent confident, the lights do change colour and time
runs out, those are people i get pissed off with. i'm not looking speeding but curise.

I drove from Welly to palmy tonight. Lots of good cunts, overtook about 2000 of them between Piecock and WaicantI. Good cunts included lots of cars, truck and even a Snake sitting on 90 - 100k who pulled over to the hard shoulder to let me past. Those cunts must get sick of other cars doing 90k's when they're around, How the fark do they get anywhere.
Only real cunt I came accross was a fellow biker. He was the only cunt that wouldn't make room for me to pass without going over the yellow line. Thanks mate, If I didn't know better I'd have thought it was that cunt mikey!
On a side note, the wind was farking strong up near Palmy. Left handers where "how they fuck am I gonna lean this thing over any further" and the right handers where "just do nothing she'll go round all by herself"

Had one yesterday heading to Hastings. Meeanee lights to Pakowhai lights. Single lane 100k zone, him doing 70, streams of traffic in the northbound so couldn't overtake. Get to where the road widens to 2 lanes - 300m before the lights and 50m before a left turn sweeper. Dickwad stays in the right lane, I move left and speed up (intending to take the off 'ramp'). Just as I draw level with his bumper, no indicator, he moves into 'my' left lane. And then brakes. Remember, it is at least 250m to the lights and he is maybe still doing 70k. Finally clear him by taking the left off lane, give him the horn/finger combo - what do I see? He's picking his nose and inspecting the contents!!! Oblivious to all outside his 4 windows. This, children, is a BAD CUNT.

Just done Welly-Gizzy-Welly in my cage yesterday. And I have to agree with Ixion. Mostly GC's. But..one stupid cunt I was behind for a while was driving so thoughtlessly I decided not too pass and slowed down while it was raining. Coming into Napier a half hour later, this vehicle and another have just collided in the middle of a particularly ugly bridge just North of Napier-Taupo turnoff. One vehicle smashed up pretty bad (seemed to have hit the bridge) but no fatalities or mega injuries. I don't know who was in the wrong or what happened but I was pleased that I was nowhere near the prick that was in front of me.

Yea man i know what that was like! we must crossed paths at some point, i was heading from napier to paraparaumu and that middle section around palmy was not pleasant. Just be thankful the tropicalstorm stayed on the woodville side of the hills!
Had one scary moment, coming down a right hand sweeper (second corner after taking final turn towards levin) and the wind shot through just as the front end went over a water stream across the road., sending the front for a short wander outwards. On a good day its a relativly quick corner, and i was only doing about 75!

Shite, this is just down the road from my place if it's where im thinking, the bridge after the sweeping left hander that turns inland from the beach? and there a right hander afterwards??
Or is it the right handed corner bridge directly north of the taupo turn?

Argh, that bridge is a bastard, they need to fix where is meets the land, both wheel tracks drop down an inch or so and on the bike if you don't hit between them you get threatened with a potential tank slapper. Hope the people involved are ok
