Got to be a scam this one, by all accounts the bike is still in the UK, he demands full payment before the bike is collected (including wire transfer) and despite having a few transactions under his belt on Trademe he has a habit of selling stuff he doesn't actually have, going by some of his feedback.

Happy Bidding. (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=79016224)

Yup, apparently this is the 2nd time within 24hrs he's tried this on. Surely they'll suspend his account.

My brother almost got scammed into something like that, we kept pushing for a Safetrader sort of deal, in the end the seller gave us the link to a company that was the same thing as safe trader (money goes half way till buyer is happy with goods) and almost got scammed with a mimmicking web site that was sort of like safe trader but wasnt the same name, the site looked totally official and every thing. Thankfully we didn't get scammed and learnt a big lesson... stay with the trusted companies. I have used safetrader before and that was good
