Hey guys,
I have a problem. I purchased a bike off Trademe which was due to be picked up this morning. Only problem is the seller and transport firm had some miscommunication and the bike never got picked up.
Anyway phoned around and no companies are heading north till next week and seeing I sold my Ginny on the weekend I'm without transport till I can get this bike to Auckland.
Is there anyone on here that is heading north with a ute or alike? If so I would be willing to pay for your time and effort

what about the shame of being seen with a bright yellow hyosung? surely that deserves some sort of financial reparation?

Book a flight to Palmy and ride it up at the weekend! :)
Hell, I'd happily drive to Palmy and ride the thing up for you if you cover the cost of my flight back! LOL

You are just worried that when I park it next to your Gixxer you will realise my wheels look better :Punk:

What is it with people on Trademe buying bikes miles away from where they live.
Aucklanders think all the cheap bikes are down here. I personally think all the bargins are in Auckland.
Was meant to deliver a bike to Hamilton on the weekend but the buyer couldn't make the effort to drive the 100ks there when I was going to go 320ks out of my way. So it looks like a lose/lose situation now.
Flights down are expensive how much are you offering if I cart it up? Unemployed at the moment!

For starters the bike was cheap:
2006 Hyosung GT250R with 500km for $5700 vs $7500 from a shop so I snapped it up. And yes it is legit and all ownership etc has been checked out
Motorcycle transport firms only charge $250 door-to-door delivery which is cheap when you think about it. When it missed transporter I looked at airfares and they are horendous for less than a 2 hr flight, then the time petrol etc to ride it back up.
Looked at a bus for $70 but then it was a 10 hr bus trip ???????????
Have sorted it now, managed to find a truck for Wednesday now but is heading to Wellington first before heading back to Auckland so with any luck I will have bike on Friday, latest will be Monday morning. Have told them if driver can get it to me by weekend I'll pay a bonus. A week without wheels is going to be murder!

Congradulations on the new bike. Just looked up the auction and they do look quite nice in yellow.

Yellow was not my favourite colour but at the price I'm getting it for I can live with it :)

Enjoy your new bike, I think it's one of the most stressful times in your life waiting for a new bike. Childbirth is much less stressful. At least I though it was. Mrs Reid is not so sure .....
