It's a bit early for me,and even though I read every single motorcycle magazine ever printed in those days,I have retained none of it in my brain cells....destroyed by chocolate microdot....

A flattracker on a Royal Enfield? Never heard of such a thing.A big brown motocrosser, whatever happened to Don De Soto? That's not an Aerial, and it's not Sammy either, bet it's another Enfield.A CZ in a European motocross...that's the Joel Roberts era,but not Joel Roberts on the bike - hey, where is the front brake lever?!

I think the first pic is the guy that went on to be a famous HD tuner. ?.. Just did a Google its the XS 650 flat track tuner....Edit again, indeed he is the famous HD tuner Shell Thuet who went on to tune for Robert's.

Ah,De Costa before he went to Suzuki with Joel Roberts...and John De Soto. But that's not the ''Flyin' Hawaiian'',he wasn't that fat.I don't think of De Costa as having a career before Suzuki.

If you mean to buy.
I got some off Viking Motors on US Ebay.....Most places want to much money.

I kept thinking of the other famous HD tuner (still going today) who did Cal Rayborn's KR 750's.

You are right it IS farmer Joe ,,,it was just a cheap excuse to look at an Enfield .
The other one how ever is a writer of some discription ,,,BUT it IS a genuine bony fide works Enfield ....so they say ....

Stephen :dodge:,,,now running for cover ( actually to look at Viking Motors on Ebay!)
