Saw this site mentioned earlier, so i went on and had a butchers...

Some great bikes on there, some with hardly any mileage, and they all look mint too (unlike most for sale here). Prices are good too, eg. a mint CBR250RR with 2000km on the clock: $3,700, wheras here, a thrashed one, with dented tank etc.. and a million km's will cost at least $5k.:shit:

Just wondering if you pay duty on them when you bring one in, and is it simply a case of getting it Vin'd?

They are based in greenlane at the moment and still have a few bikes left from the container they imported about 6-8weeks ago.

a grand to ship it and the customs and gst, is it still worth it?
be ok if you could get it shipped in a container with others but whos going to do that for ya? prices in japan have gone silly in the last few years.

A CBR250RR in japan, immaculate condition with lows k's, including a grand shipping will cost around 5000-6000

A CBR250RR in New Zealand, cracked fairings, high k's, worn tyres, 6000-7000
