looks so much the z1000 one would wonder why suzuki even pay designers but none the less street fighters rock

"French magazine Moto Revue has given us this computer generated image of what its men on the inside reckon the new Bandit will look like."
Does that mean that a bunch of guys, that pretend to know what the designers at suzuki are doing, guess the bike will look like this?
It doesn't sound very official to me.

Given that there is a very close relationship between Suzuki & Kawasaki these days a rebadged Z1000 would not be a surprise , The V Strom having been released recently as a Kawasaki.

I think any naked bike with the gsxr1000 engine would be a bit of fun.

I posted that in the MT01 thread mate, already speculation in Brit bike press about both Z750 and 1000`s being re-badged.I cant see the point really unless they make the various models slightly different,i.e. make the Bandits totally "naked" and put out the forthcoming Kawasaki"DRZ400" as a Supermoto e.t.c.Only difference between the Suzi V-Strom and the new Kwak is the badge, the paint-job and for some reason the Kwak costs slightly more,in the U.K. at least. What`s the point in that?

I definitely like the looks of that, similar as it may be to bikes already in existance. Roll on full licence :)

I heard that the word from Suzuki NZ regarding a new bandit model was that they can't confirm or deny. They release details regarding new models around November. That would coincide with the show in New Plymouth. I guess reading between the lines is there is one coming out.
I enjoy riding the wifes Z1000 that much I'm even considering trading the 1400 on one next year. It's getting harder to convince her that her bike needs some serious exercise and that I'd love to offer my services. Maybe I'll wait and see what Suzuki are going to do.

If it's true, there won't be a new Bandit for me. That doesn't look very touring friendly, ie. two up.
Badge engineering is all very well, until you start to lose variety.
